Stanley retired from the United States Postal Service before becoming a licensed agent in 1996. He joined his son, Matt Thomas, and formed "The Thomas Team" in 2002, where he specialized in rural markets and land/farm transactions.
Stanley represents both buyers and sellers in the Athens real estate market and throughout the northeast Georgia area.
Stanley serves as a commissioner on the Madison County Board of Commissioners. He and his wife, Judy, live in Madison County.
